Sept 21, 1:30 pm ● DAR Letitia Green Stevenson chapter will be unveiling and dedicating their chapter's DAR America 250! marker on September 21, 2024 at 1:30pm on the grounds on the McLean County Museum of History with a reception to follow. September 29, Stout’s Grove Patriot Grave Marking event on September 29 (Sunday) at 2:00pm. Stout’s Grove Cemetery is two miles west of Danvers on the Old Peoria Road. Steve Kern (Patriot Grave Committee) has put together a great event. A custom bronze plaque will be unveiled at the cemetery, where 3 revolutionary soldiers are buried. The dedication will include a musket and rifle salute, presentation of colors, and Guest Speaker: Cindy Wurmnest, retired Danvers Teacher and Danver’s Historian.
