April 10th, 26th Annual GJB SAR Outstanding Good Citizenship/ Scholarship Luncheon with speaker Dr. Sheahon J. Zenger, IWU President. 20 H.S. seniors from McLean & Woodford counties received citizenship commendations and three seniors received the GJBSAR Citizenship Scholarships: Meika Bender (Eureka H.S.), Nathan Steffen (Lexington H.S.) and Bohdan Zeleznik (LeRoy H.S.).

Judge Scott Kording was introduced as the keynote speaker by Marilyn Nelson, LGS Regent. Constitution Day 2025 Public Service & Heroism Recognition: McLean Count Sheriff Matt Lane, Bloomington Emergency Communication Manager Darren Wolf, Bloomington Police Detective Kevin Raisbeck, Trooper Joseph Steward and Trooper Logan Wunder both of Illinois State Police Troop #4. The Life Saving Certificate and Medal were awarded to Dispatcher Isabella Petrilli. Master Sergeant Billy Quinn and Acting Master Sergeant Ben Reichard of Illinois State Police Troop #5 were awarded Heroism Certificates and Medals. Apr 10 ● 26th Annual GJB SAR Outstanding Good Citizenship/ Scholarship Luncheon, Bloomington Country Club. SPEAKER: Sheahon J. Zenger, Ph.D., President of IWU. Twenty McLean & Woodford County high school students honored for citizenship accomplishments representing the nation's founding principals; 3 students received $1000 scholarships: Meike Bender, Bohdan Zeleznik & Nathan Steffen.
Dec 14 ● Wreaths Across America, Evergreen Cemetery, Bloomington. Some 75 people placed over 250 wreaths at the gravesites of fallen soldiers.
